Ocean Acidification and the Great Barrier Reef: Effects to Solutions

​

Researched the effects of ocean acidification on the Great Barrier Reef. Proposed solutions on a local and global scale to protect and restore shallow-water corals in Australia.

The Effects of Climate Change on the Amazon Rainforest

​

Collaborated with an international team of scientists to generate maps using remote sensing, to illustrate how anthropogenic activities affect the rainforest.

The University of California, Irvine — B.S., Earth System Science

  • Investigated global impacts of carbon emissions oceanography, hydrology, geology, meteorology, and edaphology. 

  • Trained in remote sensing, data analysis, ArcGIS, and basic hydrology and edaphology field methods.
